Nesrine Rizk

American University of Beirut Medical Center, Lebanon

Dr. Nesrine Rizk is an Infectious Diseases specialist and an HIV/AIDS expert currently practicing at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC).

She is an Assistant Professor at AUB’s Faculty of Medicine and serves as the director of the ID Fellowship Training Program.

Dr. Rizk has been leading the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) at AUBMC since its establishment in 2018.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Rizk initiated and developed the COVID-19 management protocols at AUBMC.

Additionally, Dr. Rizk has contributed to the literature with numerous research projects and publications on HIV/AIDS, ASP, and AMR.
