Aslıhan Candevir earned her medical degree from Hacettepe University in 1998 and finished her specialty in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Çukurova University in 2005. She managed the Blood Center at ÇÜTF Balcalı Hospital for 3 years and served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology from 2009-2016. Since 2016, Dr. Candevir has worked in the same department as an associate professor and professor since 2023. She is also faculty in the Institute of Health Sciences’ Translational Medicine Department. She served on the Board of Directors of Çukurova University Medical Sciences Experimental Research and Application Center, Faculty of Pharmacy. Since residency and specialization, she has participated in the Hospital Infections Control Committee. In addition to thesis advising, she has led and co-led many national and international research projects. She has had domestic and foreign nosocomial infection and research trainings.
